About me:

Helloooo! I’m Tina, a rising senior in Pfoho studying Neuroscience on the Mind, Brain, and Behavior track and double concentrating in Economics. I grew up in China with my parents and later studied in the U.S., where I usually stay with my aunt and uncle, so navigating identity, home, and new environments has been a big part of my journey. I’m a huge C-drama enthusiast, boba addict, D1 yapper, and a certified FOODIE (seriously—ask me for my Harvard Square restaurant rankings & download Beli so we can compare lists!!). I love traveling and have gotten to explore places like Mongolia and India through research. I also play guzheng (yes, that zither-looking instrument you see in Chinese dramas). On campus, I previously worked at the Mignone Center for Career Success, have been involved in research labs both on and off campus, and am active in several preprofessional organizations. So if you ever want to talk about research, classes, internships, or just figuring things out at Harvard, feel free to ask; I’ve probably experienced a bit of everything. My first year at Harvard wasn’t always easy. Being far from my parents and adjusting to college life all at once definitely made me feel homesick at times. What helped most was finding community and getting involved, and I’d love to help you do the same. Come to me about anything!! Life advice, navigating Harvard, finding good boba, or just someone to talk to if you’re ever feeling out of place or homesick (because I’ve definitely been there too).
