About me:
Hey, I’m Jakob Usandivaras. My Argentine dad and German mom met in New York, where I grew up, before we moved to Paraguay when I was 8. I’m a sophomore concentrating in Economics and Engineering Sciences and I’m interested in energy startups.
I’m a huge fan of watching the Anthony Bourdain episodes of wherever I am traveling to. This summer I’ll be in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam teaching physics and football to middle schoolers, and you can be sure I’ve already finished all the episodes on Vietnam.
On campus I give tours through Crimson Key (if you ever see me on a tour yell happy birthday), I sail for Harvard’s varsity team, and I’m involved in clubs such as the Harvard Public Opinion Project and the Harvard Organization of Latin Americans. I’m also working on a film.
As hard as moving far away for school is, FIP becomes your family away from home. While everyone comes from somewhere different, we find commonality in adapting to Cambridge. Don’t hesitate in talking. See you all soon.
