Anything and everything! On a more serious note, some other things we can chat about: practicing religion in a new environment, staying connected to your identity and dealing with homesickness, learning how to balance academics, extracurriculars, and social life, navigating career paths, and truly anything else that’s on your mind.

About me:
Beamlak is a rising senior in Leverett, originally from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. A chronic side-quester, she’s on a mission to make sure her friends never finish their psets on time through late-night jam sessions or spontaneous sweet treat excursions. She lives for buying books she’ll never have time to read and, unfortunately, has a TBR list long enough to prove it. She’s explored everything from philosophy to math and has (finally) landed on concentrating in Computer Science and Physics. Most of her work on campus sits at the intersection of tech and social good, and she’s always happy to chat about building for impact. Beamlak loves dad jokes a little too much, animated TV series even more, and has a growing collection of three-song playlists she refuses to delete. Seriously—help her. And send song recs please :) She can’t wait to meet you and is so excited to welcome the Class of 2030!
