Johannesburg, South Africa
Concentration
Nikita is currently during a joint concentration between Government and Anthropology with a secondary in Chemistry
Extracurricular Interests
I am really involved in the international society, working on the Woodbridge Board and the South African Society Board. I also work at Boston Children's Hospital as a child patient advocate. I am really interested in politics so I am involved with the Harvard undergrad Political consulting group!
Favorite place in Harvard Square?
As basic as it sounds Hefe's and Sweetgreen are my second homes... depending on the time of the day. Oh and Otto Pizzeria hands down!
What can FIPers talk to you about?
FIPpers can chat to me about anything from how to navigate courses to dealing with all the admin of being an international student at Harvard. I love exploring so ask me for some cool hot spots in Boston!
Why should a first-year choose FIP?
FIP was where I made some of my closest friends! You will always have your FIP family and the international community!
Leader Bio
Nikita was born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa. Before she came to Harvard she took a gap year to further her university debating career, sail in South Africa and just explore her home country. Nikita is a rising senior living in Winthrop House - objectively the best house that has truly become a home-away-from-home. She is currently doing a joint concentration between Anthropology and Government with a secondary in Chemistry. She has invested her time into building the international community at Harvard and also works as a patient advocate at Boston's Children's Hospital. This semester she was a course assistant for PS11 and also works at the Harvard Institutional Research Office. If you ever need to find her, check out Winthrop DHall or the river on a sunning winter's day. She loves learning about the world, binge watching series as deadlines approach and scuba diving! This summer, Nikita will be working in Seattle, west coast best coast!
